Ali Murray

Hi, I’m Ali! A little about me - I spent nearly a decade as a registered nurse, mostly in emergency departments, supporting people through some of life’s hardest moments. That experience taught me how to stay calm under pressure, listen deeply, and be there for people when they need it most.

When I first moved into the funeral industry before Light, I quickly saw how outdated the traditional system was and time and time again saw families overwhelmed with the impact of this. I joined Light because I wanted to be a part of something different, something simpler, more human, and genuinely focused on what families actually needed.

Now, as part of the End of Life team, I help people navigate the cremation process with clarity and respect. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgemental space, where people feel cared for, not pressured.

Outside of that, I live on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula with my cat, Eli, where I run on finding great coffee, and of course the occasional margarita.
