Jason here! Looking back, I actually never set out to work in funerals and cremations. But when my dad died, that experience left a mark. Everything moved too fast. There were pressures, deadlines, and expectations that didn’t leave much room to pause and grieve, let alone to make decisions that actually felt manageable.

That experience sat with me for sometime. And eventually, it became the reason I started Light: to offer families a simpler, more personal alternative. No rushed services. No confusing fees. Just space to slow down, take a breath, and make arrangements without the overwhelm.

Today, I focus on keeping Light honest, affordable, human, and building a team of superstars who all share the exact same goal - creating a service where more families can say goodbye in a way that feels right for them.
